Motor 9 has partnered with Pétro Baraka in the field of automotive engine oils and lubricants to improve engine performance, according to Sid Ahmed, owner of Motor 9.
In this context, the owner of Motor 9 explained to Dzair Tube that the company specializes in engine decarbonization, noting that the phenomenon of carbon buildup in engines is a problem faced by owners of all types of cars, whether diesel or gasoline.
Regarding his educational and professional background, the speaker recalled that he completed a degree in mechanical engineering at the El Harrach Polytechnic School in 2005 and subsequently worked in the mechanical engineering field, a family business passed down from father to grandfather.
“In 2010, I founded a company called Multi-Mécaniques, specializing in out-of-warranty maintenance. During my work, I noticed that even when adding the correct oil and following all the manufacturer’s recommendations, the car experiences several problems after exceeding 50,000 kilometers,” he added, continuing: “When I conducted research in 2012, I came across studies that addressed these problems, revealing that most of them were caused by what is called ‘carbon builder’. I then trained in this field, in which I specialize.”
“In 2014, I began developing these services. We started importing certain brands from Europe, and today, we are working on developing 100% Algerian machines in partnership with partners.” With them, I was able to develop a machine, a first in Africa and the Arab world, capable of providing solutions to these problems.”
Sid Ahmed confirmed that his company is the exclusive representative of several products in Algeria, such as the “super catalyst,” which is considered a solution to engine fouling resulting from the burning of oils in the combustion chamber.
Regarding the motivation behind his partnership with Pétro Baraka, the owner of Motor 9 emphasized that the solution would not be complete without the addition of a suitable oil compatible with the car’s engine, noting that he is well aware of the quality of Pétro Baraka’s product, which provides cleaner engines and greater efficiency.
Regarding the great confidence Sid Ahmed places in all things Algerian, whether oils, engines, or machinery, he told “Dzair Tube”: “For me, Pétro Baraka oil is one of the best oils in Africa, and not only in Algeria, and I have tested it myself and am familiar with its components. I am cautious about the oil market, even with foreign products, due to the prevalence of imitations. I had the opportunity to closely observe the production stages of “Pétro Baraka” oil and to see the capabilities deployed in the factory, which adopts professional manufacturing methods, which is a source of pride for our country.”
“Personally, I am more comfortable with Pétro Baraka oils than with foreign oils, because their products intended for the African market are of much lower quality than their counterparts in developed countries.” “It is unreasonable for me to abandon Pétro Baraka products, manufactured to European standards, and resort to lower-quality oils,” the speaker added, continuing: “Besides their quality, Pétro Baraka products are accessible to everyone and at very reasonable prices. In reality, good products are appreciated by consumers, and this is what we see with Pétro Baraka oils. For over a year, our customers have been using them, and we have convinced them, and they are satisfied.”
The owner of Motor 9 confirmed that one of the advantages of his trust in Pétro Baraka products is the ability to communicate with his management. He can share his concerns with them at any time if there is a problem or defect in the company’s product line. This is not possible with products from foreign companies and will have an impact on Motor 9’s relationships with its customers.
In the same context of communication with the managers of Pétro Baraka, Sid Ahmed stressed that his company had asked them to manufacture products according to specific standards and formulations, a request to which they responded in record time.
