ALGIERS- Strategic affairs expert Nabil Kahlouche, in an interview with Dzair Tube news channel, highlighted Algeria’s principled stance in refusing to participate in the Cairo Peace Summit held on Saturday. He emphasized that this decision stems from Algeria’s unwavering commitment to not equate the oppressor with the oppressed. Kahlouche firmly stated that Algeria cannot, in good conscience, partake in a summit tainted by shame and political diversion.
It is important to recognize that Algeria’s refusal to attend the Cairo Peace Summit was not a mistake, and history will ultimately vindicate this decision, taken by our country along with Tunisia and Syria. Kahlouche underscored that the Zionist occupation’ sinister plan to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip towards Egypt, while simultaneously monopolizing the residents of the West Bank and displacing them towards Jordan, is a clear indication of a larger project at play. The ongoing events in Gaza merely represent one stage of this calculated scheme.
“In light of this, one must question the value of such a summit when the intentions behind it are transparent, and the ultimate goal of the Zionist occupation is even clearer. Kahlouche aptly raised this concern, urging for a shift towards diligent and strategic efforts to repel the Zionist enemy both militarily and politically. Only then can the path be paved for much-needed humanitarian aid, particularly in the form of food, medicine, clothing, and fuel.
