In an official statement, Naftal disclosed the presence of an unidentified network targeting Algerian job seekers through fake recruitment ads, aimed at luring applicants into submitting their personal information for criminal purposes.
A Recurrent Threat
According to the statement, this wave of misinformation is not unprecedented. Similar fraudulent schemes have been detected in the past, underscoring the persistent efforts of these networks to exploit individuals under the guise of employment opportunities.
Public Advisory: Exercise Caution
Naftal has strongly urged social media users to exercise heightened caution and avoid engaging with such deceptive advertisements. The company emphasized the importance of reporting these false postings immediately to protect others from potential harm.
Additionally, Naftal reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding its name and reputation. The company warned that it reserves the right to take all necessary legal actions against individuals or entities misusing its name or logo without prior authorization.
Official Recruitment Channels Only
To prevent confusion and ensure transparency, Naftal reminded the public that all genuine recruitment opportunities are exclusively announced through official channels, particularly via the platform of the National Employment Agency (ANEM).
