National Civil Society Observatory Chairman Benbraham Advocates Transition Towards a Civil Society Accompanying Social Dynamics

ALGIERS- Noureddine Benbraham, the Chairman of the National Civil Society Observatory, emphasizes the forum’s aim to achieve modernity and digital citizenship, fostering a transition to a civil society that accompanies social dynamics.
In his address during the opening of the forum at the Palace of Nations, themed “Dialogue and Digital Citizenship,” Benbraham clarifies that the forum’s objective is to shift from classical civil society to one that aligns with social dynamism.
Benbraham explains, “We adopted a national electronic consultation based on five axes: the law of associations, their financing, training of associations, local governance, and municipal law.”
Following this consultation with over two thousand participants, interactive training workshops were conducted to familiarize participants with the goals and components of civil society.
Benbraham underscores the pivotal role of dialogue in the democratic process between governors and the National Observatory, highlighting it as a fundamental element.
The forum is seen as a culmination of a visionary perspective spanning from 2024 to 2030. Benbraham states that civil society aims to develop applications and websites to integrate society into this new mechanism.
Emphasizing the regional and international dynamics, especially with the national community abroad, Benbraham outlines the significant work ahead for the organization.
In conclusion, Benbraham calls on all Algerian elites and competencies to join civil society in building social leadership, emphasizing the need to derive tangible benefits from the forum for presentation to President Tebboune after the trust he has placed in them.
