Neghza praises President Tebboune’s decisions and stresses the need to lift obstacles to projects and investments

The President of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises, Saida Neghza, hailed the decisions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emanating from the Council of Ministers last Sunday, describing them as courageous.

Neghza explained that these decisions are in the interest of improving the purchasing power of the citizen who has suffered a lot from the market fluctuations and the sudden rise in prices, stressing in a related context the importance of establishing a policy clear in the area of ​​accompanying and supporting companies that have been exhausted by the repercussions of Corona and are still suffering.

In another context, the president of the CGEA denounced the obstacles that prevent the realization of projects that generate wealth and create jobs, stressing the need to remove obstacles to projects and investments.

The speaker also called for concerted efforts to support an effective and realistic economic recovery program, explaining that the suspension or cancellation of taxes is positive, since the increase in the tax burden has had negative repercussions and manifestations such as tax evasion, not to mention that the person who pays the tax is fundamentally the private, whether consumer or worker.

Neghza explained that the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and the fluctuations in oil prices in 2020, revealed the flaws in the Algerian economy, which suffered from the mismanagement of accumulated rents, noting that there is an opportunity with the improvement of income by relying on an efficient and effective economic model, far from the logic of rent.

Neghza added that the improvement in revenues due to the increase in fuel prices gives the government the opportunity to ensure flexibility, by rationalizing resources in order to direct them towards what serves the productive national economy and ensure a desire to diversify the economy.
