New Ambassador of Algeria to Bulgaria presents credentials to deputy FM

ALGIERS-  Bulgaria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev accepted copies of the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Bulgaria, Messaoud Mehila.

During their meeting, both sides expressed their eagerness to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and to activate political dialogue at the highest level.

Kodzhabashev emphasized the significance of Algeria as a crucial economic partner to Bulgaria in North Africa. He further emphasized the need to strengthen ties between the two countries in areas such as energy, defense industry, and tourism. The possibility of conducting political consultations between the two foreign ministries was also discussed.

It is imperative to note that this meeting marks a significant milestone in the diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Algeria. The commitment of both nations to foster a stronger partnership is a testament to their shared values and aspirations. As such, we look forward to witnessing the fruitful outcomes of this collaboration in the near future.
