New Ambassadors Share Insights on Their Countries’ Relations with Algeria

ALGIERS- Following the credential presentation ceremony to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday, three newly accredited ambassadors to Algeria shared their perspectives on the diplomatic relationships between their respective countries and Algeria.

1. Nicaraguan Ambassador Carlos Eduardo Diaz Moreira:

Ambassador Moreira emphasized the shared values between Nicaragua and Algeria, centered around the defense of national sovereignty and respect for international law. He highlighted discussions with President Tebboune regarding the reactivation of the joint commission between Algeria and Nicaragua. This commission aims to address mutual interests in education, culture, economy, and finance while focusing on the high values of national sovereignty shared by both nations.

2. Syrian Ambassador Maher Annan Baddour:

Ambassador Baddour expressed Syria’s strong commitment to elevating its relations with Algeria. He noted that President Tebboune’s vision aligns with that of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, emphasizing the mutual interest both leaders have in enhancing bilateral ties.

3. Pakistani Ambassador Khalid Hussain Gudaro:

Ambassador Gudaro commended the longstanding and close relations between Pakistan and Algeria spanning over six decades. He highlighted the collaboration in various fields and emphasized joint efforts in international forums such as the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Ambassador Gudaro affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further cooperation with Algeria across domains, including trade, expressing a strong desire to strengthen these privileged relations.

In conclusion, the statements from the ambassadors reflect a shared commitment to fostering diplomatic ties, enhancing collaboration, and building on the historical relationships between Algeria and their respective countries.
