ALGIERS- In a statement released on Monday, the Ministry of Transport announced the appointment of a new Director General for Algiers’ Houari Boumediene Airport. Mokhtar Said Mediouni has succeeded Mohamed Salah Kouache in this role, according to the ministry.
The installation of the new Director General into his new position was conducted by the ministry’s Secretary General, Djamel Eddine Abdelghani Dridi.
Mediouni brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role, which is pivotal in overseeing the operations and management of one of Algeria’s busiest airports. Under his leadership, Algiers Airport is expected to continue its efforts to adapt to evolving industry standards and technological advancements while maintaining its status as a key hub for domestic and international air travel in the region.
