New Year 2024: Chief of Staff Chanegriha Commends the Achievements of Algeria’s National Army in 2023

ALGIERS- General of the Army, Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the members of the People’s National Army on the occasion of the New Year 2024. He expressed admiration and acknowledgment for the dedicated service of officers, non-commissioned officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian employees who are the successors of the National Liberation Army.
General Chanegriha emphasized that the People’s National Army, under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, exerted considerable efforts and achieved commendable results throughout the year 2023. Notably, the army played a vital role in combating heinous terrorism and associated threats, including various forms of smuggling, drug trafficking, illegal migration, and unauthorized gold mining.
The message underscores the commitment and effectiveness of Algeria’s armed forces in safeguarding national security and contributing to the country’s overall stability and development.
