Newly-appointed Labor Minister Bentaleb, seasoned young executive, capable of embodying President Tebboune’s commitments in favor of social security

ALGIERS- Youcef Cherfa now heads, following the partial cabinet reshuffle carried out, this Thursday, by the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the ministerial department of Transport.
He gave up his place at the head of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, to Faycal Bentaleb. The latter is hardly a stranger to the sector. Until the day of his appointment to the government, he assumed the duties of acting director general of the National Fund of Social Insurance of Salaried Employees (CNAS). He previously headed the National Social Security Fund for workers and Self-Employed persons (Casnos).
Undoubtedly, this young manager, who introduced a new dynamism in all the positions he occupied previously, will be able to embody the endeavors of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune in the labor sector with regard to integrating youth and creating job opportunities to build a country based on youth. This appointment heralds the emergence of a new generation of managers.
In an interview with “Jeunesse d’Algérie,” the newly-appointed Minister stressed that the social character is one of the foundations of national policy in Algeria, reflecting its cultural and social values. Noting that President Tebboune devoted two of his 54 electoral commitments to social security in Algeria, being an essential instrument of social cohesion, thus, contributing to peace and social inclusion.
For the welfare of citizens, their families and society as a whole, many measures have been taken with the aim of strengthening the social security system. In another interview with La Patrie News newspaper, the Minister tackled the implemented measures to better respond to the demands of the times.
Noting that new Algeria has witnessed very substantial changes reflected in the restoration of the State’s authority, the establishment of a new institutional structure worthy of big democracies, the strengthening of a social policy that protects the most vulnerable classes, the return in force at the international level, in addition to the digital transformation…. Once elected, President Tebboune was aware of what awaited him domestically and internationally. He quickly launched the institutional, economic, and political projects to change the practice of power and rethink a new democratic and social model.
