It is worth recalling that the third edition of the Futsal tournament, now branded as the “UNEP” tournament, owes its success to the generous sponsorship of the National Union of Public Entrepreneurs (UNEP). This sponsorship, alongside vital partnerships with entities like the Office of the Olympic Complex ‘Mohamed Boudiaf’ (OCO), the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee (COA), and the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), has made the event possible. The tournament sees twenty-four (24) teams from various national media outlets competing, with this year’s edition dedicated to honoring journalists who lost their lives in Gaza during the ongoing aggression by the Zionists against Palestinians, as well as commemorating recently deceased Algerian journalists.
To ensure the seamless execution of the tournament, organizers have enlisted the help of dedicated volunteers, a tradition maintained from previous editions. Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Amine Louli expressed the team’s enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring the success of this year’s tournament. Louli credited the National Organization of Algerian Sports Journalists (ONJSA) and its partners for providing the necessary resources and conditions for the event’s continued growth and success.
