Palestine: Algeria condemns, in the strongest terms, barbaric Zionist aggression in Nablus

ALGIERS – Algeria strongly condemned, on Wednesday, the barbaric aggression perpetrated by the Zionist occupation forces against the Palestinians in Nablus, causing several martyrs and many injured, calling on the international community and the UN Security Council, to intervene urgently to put an end to the dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, “Algeria strongly condemns the barbaric aggression perpetrated, on Wednesday, by the Zionist occupation forces against the Palestinians in Nablus causing several martyrs and many injuries”.
“Expressing its sincere condolences and compassion to the Palestinian brothers: leaders, government and people, Algeria calls on the international community and the UN Security Council to intervene immediately to stop the dangerous escalation imposed by the Zionist forces and to ensure effective international protection for the Palestinian people,” the statement read.
Algeria “reiterates its constant solidarity and support for the Palestinian people so that they recover their legitimate rights, in particular, their right to build an independent state with El Quds as its capital,” added the same source.
Algeria also stresses the necessary implementation of resolutions of international legality in order to deter the Zionist occupier and hold it responsible for its systematic crimes against the Palestinian people, to compel it to engage in a political process serious, leading to a just and lasting solution for the Palestinian cause, based on the principle: Land for Peace, on which the Arab peace initiative is based,” the statement concluded.
