Palestine: Algeria Vehemently Condemns Zionist Aggression in Jenin

ALGIERS- In a strong statement released on Monday, Algeria vehemently condemned the attack carried out by the Zionist occupation forces in the city of Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank. The assault resulted in the tragic loss of numerous innocent lives, according to a press release from Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry’ statement expressed Algeria’s unwavering stance against the Zionist aggression, emphasizing that they flagrantly violate international laws, regulations, and the fundamental principles of humanity. Algeria called for an immediate cessation of the ongoing aggression, highlighting the need for respect for basic human rights and international norms.
Furthermore, Algeria reaffirmed its steadfast support for the brave Palestinian people and their just cause, which aims to end the occupation of their lands and establish an independent state with El-Quds Echarif as its capital.
Taking the opportunity, Algeria appealed to the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to fulfill its political and legal responsibilities. The country urged the international community to provide adequate protection to the Palestinian people and ensure the prosecution of those accountable for these crimes. The statement emphasized that the occupying forces continue to commit these atrocities with impunity in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The city of Jenin and its camp in the occupied West Bank have witnessed the most severe Zionist aggression since 2002. Since the early hours of the morning, the occupation forces have launched a barrage of aerial and ground bombardments, leading to the tragic deaths of at least eight Palestinian martyrs. The attack has also resulted in nearly 50 people sustaining injuries, according to a provisional toll.
Algeria’s condemnation of this attack stands as a testament to its commitment to justice and the principles of human rights. The country’ strong stance reflects its dedication to the Palestinian cause and its unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people.
