ALGIERS- Fayez Abu Aita, Palestine’s ambassador to Algiers, shed light on the immense challenges faced by the Palestinian people. Speaking at a symposium organized by the National Democratic Rally in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, Abu Aita emphasized that the ongoing battle for Al-Aqsa is the most arduous in their history.

Abu Aita highlighted the historical crime of displacing Palestinians from their homeland to foreign territories. He stated, “While the Palestinian people have endured countless massacres over the past 75 years, the population within Palestine still stands at 7 million. This underscores the significance of the ongoing displacement, which serves the occupation’s agenda.”

Undeterred by the adversities, Abu Aita emphasized the unity of the Palestinian people in their resistance against the occupation. He stressed that they are all united in the trenches, fighting for their national project, as the target remains the Palestinian people themselves.

In a poignant conclusion, Abu Aita lamented the unjust and criminal nature of the world, which perceives the Palestinian people as an unnecessary burden. He passionately expressed, “Despite our ancient roots in this land and our ownership of one of humanity’s greatest civilizations, they seek to rid themselves of us. It is a grave injustice.”

This powerful statement from Palestine’s ambassador serves as a reminder of the immense challenges faced by the Palestinian people. It calls for global attention and support to address the ongoing struggle for justice and freedom.
