ALGIERS-Algeria and Tunisia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the pharmaceutical sector, as announced by the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production in a statement released on Thursday.
The MoU was signed in Tunis during a working visit by Ali Aoun, who arrived on Thursday at the invitation of the Tunisian Minister of Health, Ali Merabet.
During the visit, the two parties discussed the management and production of medicines in both countries. They urged members of both delegations to work towards intensifying efforts and enhancing coordination to ensure the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Following the discussions, the two sides concluded the visit by signing a memorandum of understanding. The agreement focuses on cooperation in the manufacturing and control of medicines, aiming to boost their production and commercialization in both Algeria and Tunisia. This collaborative effort is expected to contribute to the advancement of the pharmaceutical sector in both nations.
