Presidency of Republic denounces isolated initiative to honor President Tebboune’s portrait

ALGIERS– The Directorate General of Communication of the Presidency of the Republic strongly condemned the initiative taken by certain officials of the University of Batna1 who, on “a personal and isolated initiative, honored the portrait (photo) of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This attack on the image of the President of the Republic, denounced the same source, “reminds the Algerians of an unsightly and disgraceful era.”
“This bad behavior contradicts with the new practices that President Tebboune has tried to inculcate since his accession to the Presidency of the Republic, especially, specified the press release, that “President Tebboune had demanded to ban the term ‘Fakhamatouhou’ “His Excellency” in the new Algeria”.
