ALGIERS- In a meeting with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Movement for a Society for Peace (MSP), Abdelali Hassani, expressed his appreciation for Algeria’s diplomatic stance, particularly its solidarity march with Palestine and all the positions Algeria takes in support of the Palestinian people. This includes backing their cause and supporting our Palestinian brothers in Gaza and throughout the entirety of Palestine.

Following the reception by President Tebboune, Abdelali Hassani stated, “There were national issues under discussion today, including the Social Front and the country’s economic situation. These are matters that Algerians should focus on in order to forge a national consensus that unites the people around a vision for the development and enhancement of the country. We aim to strengthen its capabilities and potential to safeguard it, defend its unity, and its borders, especially in these challenging regional and global circumstances.”

The President emphasized that all Algerians should stand united in facing the difficulties because Algeria is a pivotal nation in Africa and the Mediterranean region. It has also secured representation in the United Nations Security Council, and, as such, its opinion should be heard and have a significant impact on its directions.

The meeting also served as an excellent opportunity to hear from the President regarding his insights, particularly concerning the Palestinian issue and domestic economic matters.

Abdelali Hassani continued, saying, “We hope that this ongoing consultation will be a chance for Algerians to come together, discuss matters that promote the unity of the Algerian people and safeguard the development of their homeland.”

In times when national interests, regional dynamics, and economic stability are of utmost importance, these dialogues will help shape the way forward and create a unified front for the betterment of Algeria and its people.
