President Tebboune Bestows ‘El Achir’ National Order of Merit Medal on Minister of Housing

Algiers, Algeria | February 10th, 2025 — In a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace of El Mouradia, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune awarded the ‘El Achir’ Medal of the National Order of Merit to Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City. According to an official statement from the Presidency of the Republic, Belaribi’s unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in transforming the urban landscape and addressing housing challenges have earned him this distinguished accolade. Under his leadership, the Ministry of Housing has spearheaded major projects, including large-scale residential developments, social housing initiatives, and urban modernization programs designed to meet the growing needs of the Algerian population.
