ALGIERS–The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune conducted a large-scale reshuffle among diplomats and consuls, said, Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad in a statement.
“As part of the diplomatic redeployment, the President of the Republic conducted a large-scale diplomatic and consular movement”, specified the communiqué, noting that “this movement concerns 24 ambassadors, 15 consuls general and 09 consuls”.
“These new appointments aim to revitalize the country’s diplomatic apparatus to bring it up to date with a view to effectively addressing the concerns of the national community abroad, as well as the interests of the country,” concluded the press release.
