President Tebboune Congratulates Algerian Army for Successful Tactical Exercise with Live Ammunition

ALGIERS- The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, oversaw, on Sunday, a tactical exercise with live ammunition called “Fadjr 2023” at the Shooting and Maneuver Polygon in Djelfa, located in the 1st Military Region. This exercise was conducted as part of the force preparation program for the year 2022-2023, and it involved units from the 12th Mechanized Infantry Division in Djelfa, supported by various forces and arms.
During the exercise, President Tebboune witnessed firsthand the impressive progress made by the People’s National Army (ANP). In his remarks, he took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to the command and members of the ANP for their achievements. He emphasized the significance of this exercise and highlighted Algeria’s unique position as one of the few countries currently conducting such exercises with live ammunition.
President Tebboune’ statement, as reported by national television, expressed his gratitude to all the individuals who contributed to the success of the tactical exercise: “I would like to facilitate all the members of the ANP who participated in the success of this tactical exercise.” His words underscored the commitment and dedication of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s security.
