ALGIERS– The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent, Thursday, a message of congratulations to Mr. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following his inauguration as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Excellency and dear brother, it gives me pleasure, following your election at the head of the sisterly State of Nigeria, to address you on behalf of Algerian people and Government, and in my own name, my warmest congratulations and my best wishes for success in the exercise of your noble functions”, read the message of the President of the Republic.
“The confidence that your brotherly people have placed in you constitutes a popular plebiscite and recognition of your competence, qualifications, proven political experience and qualities as a seasoned statesman, as well as your commitment to serve your country,” added President Tebboune .
The President of the Republic continued: “I would like to take this happy opportunity to express to you our full availability to work with you to consolidate the historic relations of solidarity uniting our two countries, and to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations in various fields, in addition to our commitment to concretize the structuring projects and to promote the strategic partnership between our two sisterly countries”.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to express my interest in promoting and deepening the tradition of political consultation on regional and international issues of common interest, as well as the coordination within the African Union, in order to achieve the objectives of peace , security, stability, sustainable development, economic integration throughout our continent and the defense of its interests in the various international forums”, pointed out the President of the Republic.
“While reiterating my sincere congratulations, please accept, Excellency and dear brother, the expression of my highest feelings of affection and respect,” he concluded.
