ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presiding over a cabinet meeting on Sunday dedicated to crucial matters, has issued directives to implement nationwide digitalization across all government sectors.
While expressing satisfaction with the progress in digitizing property, tax, and customs services, President Tebboune called for continued and intensified efforts in coordination with the High Commission for Digitalization.
According to the official statement from the cabinet meeting, the President emphasized the necessity of generalizing the digitalization process to encompass all government sectors in a unified manner under the supervision of the High Commission for Digitalization.
President Tebboune further ordered the submission of progress reports to monitor the advancements made while accelerating the completion of all stages due to their significance in the overall development of government operations.
This directive highlights the President’s commitment to advancing digitalization efforts, recognizing the transformative impact it can have on enhancing government services, efficiency, and overall functionality. The call for a unified and comprehensive approach, overseen by the High Commission for Digitalization, underscores the strategic importance of digital transformation in modernizing governance and service delivery.
