During his recent visit to the Khenchela province, President Tebboune emphasized the commitment to establish a democratic and social state that adheres to principles of consultation and ensures the fair distribution of the nation’s wealth. President Tebboune underscored the current factors bolstering the authority of the Algerian state, including internal cohesion, national unity, continuous economic development, and the strength of the People’s National Army (ANP). He emphasized that these factors have positively influenced Algeria’s diplomatic effectiveness, particularly in championing just causes such as the Palestinian and Sahrawi issues.

Highlighting the importance of elected assemblies in fostering genuine democracy, President Tebboune emphasized the need for scientific, non-arbitrary revision of administrative boundaries. He also stressed the importance of revising communal and provincial codes to empower local assembly presidents and enhance municipal financial capacities.

President Tebboune articulated a strong political will to continue economic reforms until Algeria’s economy ranks among the top in Africa. He emphasized the importance of achieving economic prosperity for all citizens and ensuring equity among regions through national investment.

Responding to citizen concerns and proposals, President Tebboune pledged to implement most of the suggestions put forward by the people of Khenchela. He committed to conducting feasibility studies for proposed development projects and affirmed a commitment to revising electricity tariffs, constructing dams in the region, and establishing a medical school branch for the next academic year.

President Tebboune expressed support for the USM Khenchela football team by facilitating a sponsorship agreement, wishing them success in the upcoming season.
