President Tebboune Extends Condolences to Palestinian Journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh

ALGIERS- In a poignant gesture of solidarity, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a letter of condolences to Palestinian journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh on Monday, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic death of his son, Hamza Al-Dahdouh. Hamza lost his life on Sunday in a Zionist army airstrike in Gaza.
President Tebboune conveyed his heartfelt condolences, lamenting the deliberate targeting of media teams fulfilling their duties by the Zionist military. The letter emphasized the blatant violation of international laws, especially the right to protect journalists.
“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, learned with great sadness and sorrow the terrible news of the assassination of journalist Hamza Wael Al-Dahdouh by the Zionist army, thus rising to the rank of martyr and joining the majority of his family members who fell as martyrs during the barbaric attacks of the Zionist enemy, which deliberately targets media teams carrying out their mission,” read the letter.
President Tebboune extended his condolences to Wael Al-Dahdouh, the father of the deceased journalist, and the entire family. The letter also expressed condolences to the families of all journalists who lost their lives in the ongoing savage aggression in Gaza.
Algeria, through the compassionate message of its President, stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the unjust attacks on civilians and media personnel in Gaza.
