President Tebboune Extends Condolences to President Putin on Passing of Russian Ambassador to Algeria

Algiers, Algeria | July 3rd, 2024 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has conveyed a heartfelt message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the death of Valerian Shuvaev, the Russian Ambassador to Algeria.

In his message, President Tebboune expressed deep sadness and profound grief over the loss of Ambassador Shuvaev. “Mr. President, it is with immense sorrow and deep affliction that we learned of the passing of Valerian Shuvaev, who excellently represented his country and significantly contributed to the strengthening of the friendship and cooperation between our two nations,” President Tebboune stated.

Sympathy and Compassion

During this difficult time, President Tebboune extended his heartfelt sympathies on behalf of himself, the Algerian government, and the Algerian people. “I offer my sincere condolences to the government and people of the friendly Russian Federation, and through you, to the bereaved family of the deceased, assuring you of our sympathy and compassion,” he added.

In closing, President Tebboune reiterated his deepest condolences and conveyed his highest regard and profound respect to President Putin. “While renewing our sincere condolences, please accept, Mr. President, the expression of our highest consideration and deepest respect,” President Tebboune concluded.
