Algeria, February 16, 2024 – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has extended warm congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on his reelection to the highest office in the country. The message of felicitation was conveyed following President Aliyev’s victory in the recent elections, as reported by the Azerbaijani Press Agency, Azertac.

Seizing the opportunity, President Tebboune extended an invitation to President Aliyev to attend the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), scheduled to take place from March 29th to April 2nd in Algiers. President Tebboune expressed anticipation for the opportunity to meet President Aliyev in Algiers during the GECF Summit.
“We look forward to welcoming you to Algiers for the 7th GECF Summit,” President Tebboune concluded in his message of congratulations to President Aliyev.
