President Tebboune Inaugurates Algiers’ International Fair, Showcasing Algeria’s Potential and International Partnerships- Video

ALGIERS- The 54th edition of the Algiers’ International Fair was inaugurated, today, by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in a grand ceremony that showcased Algeria’s commitment to economic growth and international collaboration. With Italy as the guest of honor, this year’s fair promises to be a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering partnerships, and promoting various sectors of the Algerian economy.
The Algiers International Fair, also known as the FIA (Foire Internationale d’Alger), has a long-standing history of bringing together domestic and international businesses, investors, and policymakers. It serves as a melting pot of ideas, innovations, and opportunities, contributing to the economic development of Algeria and strengthening its ties with the global community.
Italy’s prominent presence at the fair highlights the growing bilateral relations between the two nations. Thirteen Italian exhibitors, representing a wide range of sectors such as energy and renewable energies, industry, construction, information and communication technologies, maritime transport, agriculture, and services, will showcase their expertise and explore potential collaborations with Algerian counterparts.
Upon his arrival at the Palais des Expositions, President Tebboune was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane and Minister of Trade and Export Promotion Tayeb Zitouni. The presence of high-ranking government officials and representatives from the diplomatic corps accredited in Algeria added an air of importance to the event, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promoting economic growth and attracting foreign investment.
The exhibition opens its doors to a multitude of participants, with a staggering number of nearly 640 exhibitors hailing from both Algeria and various countries around the world.
