ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune officially installed the members of the National High Commission for Investment Appeals on Monday, according to a statement from the presidency. The statement specified that the President appointed Mr. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Presidency’s Cabinet, as the president of this commission.
During this event, President Tebboune emphasized the importance of this vital domain, while commending the efforts made by the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) to accelerate the pace of investment and diversify the national economy by reducing dependence on hydrocarbons, as reported by the same source.
President Tebboune also praised the outcomes of the cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and CREA, which actively participated in the initiative to reduce the prices of essential consumer products during the holy month of Ramadan, the statement added.
