President Tebboune Leads High-Level Meeting on Industrial Land Development

Algiers, Algeria | December 2nd, 2024 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a high-level meeting on Monday at the El Mouradia Presidential Palace, focusing on Algeria’s industrial land challenges. The session brought together key ministers and economic leaders to devise solutions for optimizing industrial land use, a vital component of the country’s economic development plans.

The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Laaziz Faid, Interior Minister Brahim Merad, and Housing Minister Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, alongside the President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), Kamel Moula, and the Director-General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache. This collaboration between government and economic stakeholders reflects Algeria’s determination to create a more dynamic investment climate.

This meeting marks a significant effort by Algeria to address challenges in its industrial sector.
