The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered, during the Council of Ministers he chaired on Sunday, to revise the prices of air and sea transport tickets before the summer season, for the benefit of the national community in abroad, says a press release from the Council of Ministers.
Regarding the strengthening of international flights in anticipation of the summer season, the President of the Republic ordered the Minister of Transport to begin the revision of the prices of air and sea transport tickets before the summer season, for the benefit of the national community, so as to induce and encourage them to opt for national transport companies.
He also ordered to find an immediate and exceptional solution to all problems related to the transport of pilgrims performing Umrah, with a view to avoiding the recurrence of these problems during the Hajj season.
The President of the Republic also ordered to review the organization chart of Air Algérie, and its mode of operation, in accordance with international standards, emphasizing the need to attach greater importance to the socio-professional situation of pilots and Algerian technicians working in the field of aviation, the statement concluded.
