Algiers, Algeria | June 23rd, 2024 — Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, chaired a Cabinet meeting on Sunday. The session was dedicated to discussing a draft law aimed at protecting individuals with special needs, along with several significant sectoral presentations, according to a communiqué from the Presidency of the Republic.
“Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, today presided over a Cabinet meeting. This session focused on a draft law concerning the protection of individuals with special needs and includes presentations on critical projects such as the interconnection of the northern and southern electrical grids, the 2024 harvest and threshing campaign, the progress of grain storage center constructions, and measures for the modernization of electronic and mobile payment systems,” the communiqué stated.
The meeting underscores the government’s commitment to addressing pressing national issues and improving the infrastructure and services for all citizens.
