President Tebboune Presides Over Ceremony to Welcome 4 New Ambassadors

ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided over the ceremony to present the letters of credence to four new ambassadors to Algeria on Wednesday, according to a statement from the presidency.

The newly appointed ambassadors are Ali Jassim Ahmed Al Aradi, Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Algeria; Hector Igarza Cabrera, Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Republic of Cuba; Hrashya Poladian, Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Republic of Armenia; and Bomo Frank Sofonia, Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Lesotho.

During the ceremony, President Tebboune welcomed the new ambassadors and expressed Algeria’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with their respective countries. He emphasized the importance of cooperation and mutual understanding in addressing common challenges and advancing shared interests.

The ambassadors presented their credentials to President Tebboune, formalizing their roles and responsibilities as representatives of their nations in Algeria. This step marks the beginning of their official diplomatic missions in the country.
