President Tebboune Prevents Legal Action Against Donald Trump to Preserve Global Diplomatic Stability

However, Tebboune, cognizant of the sensitive nature of the U.S. electoral process, intervened with explicit orders to halt the lawsuit, prioritizing diplomatic equilibrium over a legal confrontation that could have broader geopolitical repercussions.
Berraf detailed the rationale behind Tebboune’s directive, explaining that the President’s decision was rooted in Algeria’s commitment to preserving stable international relations during a crucial period in global politics. “President Tebboune issued clear instructions not to proceed with the lawsuit, as the United States is in a particularly fragile electoral phase,” Berraf said. “Algeria values the principle of neutrality and will not engage in actions that could disrupt the electoral process of another nation.”
