Algiers, Algeria | July 15th, 2024 — On Monday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received farewell visits from three ambassadors at the conclusion of their respective missions in Algeria. The meetings, held in the presence of Mr. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Presidential Cabinet, signified the end of their diplomatic tenures.
The departing ambassadors were:
- Her Excellency Elisabeth Wolbers, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- His Excellency Nebiat Getachew, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
- Her Excellency Janna Van Der Velde, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
These meetings underscored the end of their diplomatic missions in Algeria, providing an opportunity to reflect on the bilateral relations cultivated during their service.
