President Tebboune Receives Four New Ambassadors, Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

ALGIERS- In a diplomatic ceremony held on Monday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received the letters of credence from four newly appointed ambassadors to Algeria, as announced by the presidential office in an official statement.

The ambassadors presenting their credentials to President Tebboune include Mr. Pekka Hevonan of the Republic of Finland, Mr. Aeneas Ngakala of the Republic of Congo, Mr. Iman Salom Ngalikai of the United Republic of Tanzania, and Mr. Sidi Mohamed Mohamed Abdallah of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The ceremony, attended by Mr. Boualem Boualem, Acting Director of the President’s Cabinet, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, marked the formal initiation of diplomatic duties for the newly appointed envoys.

President Tebboune expressed his appreciation for the continued commitment of these countries to maintaining and strengthening diplomatic relations with Algeria. The reception of letters of credence is a customary diplomatic practice signifying the official commencement of an ambassador’s tenure in their host country.
