Algiers, Algeria | September 29th, 2024 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call today from Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, during which the Emir extended his heartfelt congratulations on Tebboune’s re-election for a second term as President of the Republic.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the two leaders discussed ways to enhance the strong fraternal ties between Kuwait and Algeria, emphasizing their shared commitment to bolstering cooperation. They also exchanged views on recent developments in the region, highlighting their mutual concern for regional stability and collaboration.

In addition, President Tebboune graciously accepted Sheikh Mishal’s invitation to visit the State of Kuwait, expressing his gratitude for the Emir’s attention to the pressing issues facing the Arab nation.
