President Tebboune Receives Niger’s Foreign Minister in Algiers

High-Level Diplomatic Meeting Reinforces Algeria-Niger Strategic Partnership

Algiers, Algeria | February 25th, 2025 — Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune welcomed Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Nigeriens Abroad, Bakary Yaou Sangaré, on Tuesday in Algiers, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring nations.

The high-level audience, held at the Presidency, was attended by Boualem Boualem, Director of Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic, and Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, as confirmed in an official communiqué from the Algerian Presidency.

The meeting underscored Algeria’s unwavering commitment to deepening its strategic cooperation with Niger, particularly in the realms of security, economic development, and regional stability.
