President Tebboune Receives Outgoing Italian Ambassador Giovanni Pugliese

ALGIERS- Today, Wednesday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Algeria, Giovanni Pugliese. The meeting took place as a farewell visit by Ambassador Pugliese following the completion of his diplomatic mission.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the reception was attended by the Director of the Presidential Cabinet, Boualem Boualem.
During the meeting, President Tebboune expressed appreciation for Ambassador Pugliese’s efforts in strengthening the bilateral relations between Algeria and Italy during his tenure. The two diplomats discussed the various aspects of the Algerian-Italian partnership, which encompasses diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation.
Ambassador Pugliese conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception and support he received during his mission in Algeria. He highlighted the importance of the longstanding ties between the two countries and the potential for further collaboration in various fields.
The outgoing Italian Ambassador also expressed his optimism about the future of Algerian-Italian relations and his confidence in the continued development of these ties.
President Tebboune, while bidding farewell to Ambassador Pugliese, reiterated Algeria’s commitment to fostering strong and mutually beneficial relations with Italy. The President wished the departing ambassador success in his future endeavors.
