President Tebboune renews trust in Ali Aoun as Minister of Industry, Pharmaceutical Production

ALGIERS– Following the partial cabinet reshuffle conducted, Thursday, March 17th, 2023, by President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Ali Aoun inherited the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, which merged with the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry.
President Tebboune renewed his trust in Ali Aoun as Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production thanks to his tireless efforts exerted to boost the performance of his sector.
Since his arrival at the head of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Ali Aoun, a fine connoisseur of the activity, being from 1995 to 2008, the Chairman and CEO of the Saidal, waged an anti-parasitic war to remedy the sector.
With a rich career, Mr. Aoun multiplied field trips periodically and, at each stopover, delivers statements that make operators in the private and public pharmaceutical industry sweat with concern, and for good reason.
