Algiers, Algeria | April 14th, 2025 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune carried out a ministerial and institutional reshuffle on Monday, reflecting his continued drive to streamline and energize the country’s economic apparatus.
According to an official statement from the Presidency of the Republic, President Tebboune has terminated the functions of Mohamed Boukhari, Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, and appointed Kamel Rezzig as his successor.
In a parallel move, the President also dismissed Rabia Kherfi, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CNESE), and appointed Mohamed Boukhari—the outgoing Minister of Trade—as her replacement.
