ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune returned to Algiers on Monday following his participation in Tunis in the inaugural consultative meeting among the leaders of Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya.
Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, President Tebboune was greeted by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha.
The first consultative meeting brought together the President of the Republic, his Tunisian counterpart, Mr. Kaïs Saïed, and the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mr. Mohamed Younes El-Menfi, at the Carthage Palace in Tunis.
The meeting wrapped up with a final communique, in which the leaders of Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya emphasized the need to unify positions and intensify consultation and coordination. Their aim is to strengthen the fundamental elements of security, stability, and development in the region, and enhance its resilience in the face of emerging regional variables and successive international crises.
