In a message addressed to the Nation on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan, President Tebboune addressed his wishes to the citizens, thanking Allah for the improvement of the pandemic situation, which allowed “the opening total number of mosques in front of the faithful to perform the Tarawih prayer in an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility”.
In this regard, President Tebboune reminded Algerians of the “need to show vigilance and caution, and to respect the measures of the Sanitary protocol in all public spaces”.
The President of the Republic also urged citizens to seize this sacred month to “strengthen the bonds of solidarity and fraternity known among Algerians” and to “avoid excessive consumption and waste, at a time when several countries are suffering from a shortage of supplies and malnutrition, even famine, in a global context marked by profound changes’.
Addressing traders, President Tebboune called on them to “be lenient towards fellow citizens” and not to give in to easy money to the detriment of the citizen.
Renewing his most sincere “wishes” to Algerians inside and outside the country, the President of the Republic recalled that the holy month of Ramadhan is an “opportunity to draw the senses of patience, contentment and meditation”.
