President Tebboune Urges Prosecution of Zionist Entity at International Criminal Court

ALGIERS- In a significant address during the opening of the 2023-2024 judicial year, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, raised a poignant question about the absence of international justice in the face of the ongoing atrocities committed by the Zionists in Gaza. He expressed deep concern over the continuous violation of the rights of the Palestinian people and the daily commission of heinous crimes by the occupying Zionist forces, all met with a deafening silence.

Drawing a parallel to the atrocities of the Second World War, he lamented the lack of humanism and international awareness surrounding these crimes.

In a resolute call to action, President Tebboune appealed to jurists and free thinkers worldwide to initiate legal proceedings against the Zionists at the international criminal court and international human rights organizations. He emphasized that this course of action represents the only viable means to bring an end to decades of impunity.

With a firm tone, President Tebboune asserted, “I implore all legal experts and individuals committed to justice to file a formal complaint against the Zionists before the international criminal court and international human rights organizations. It is imperative that we hold them accountable for their actions and put an end to the long-standing culture of impunity.”
