President Tebboune Works to Safeguard Algeria from External Risks, Affirms Interior Minister

ALGIERS- In a recent statement, Algeria’s Minister of the Interior, Local Assemblies, and Regional Planning, Brahim Merad, emphasized President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s dedicated efforts to fortify the nation against external risks. Merad made these comments during the inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed delegate governor, Daoudi Adel.
Merad underlined President Tebboune’s forward-looking perspective, noting the president’s commitment to shifting the country’s reliance from hydrocarbons to local production. He highlighted Tebboune’s initiatives, such as distributing seeds to farmers and constructing grain silos to reduce Algeria’s dependence on imports from other countries.
Moreover, Merad disclosed that Messâad has benefited from a supplementary program involving an investment of 3.6 trillion dinars across 77 projects, addressing various shortcomings.
In conclusion, Minister Merad pledged that Messâad would operate with full authority, rapidly advancing across diverse sectors. The new delegate governorship, he assured, would be well-equipped to handle a range of challenges, ensuring comprehensive progress for the province.
