President Tebboune’s decision to evacuate two Palestinian families from Khartoum hailed

ALGIERS-  The Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Algeria, Mr. Fayez Abu Aïta, welcomed, on Tuesday, the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune to evacuate two Palestinian families from the Sudanese capital Khartoum , following the crisis that is shaking the country.

In a statement to APS, Mr. Abu Aïta praised President Tebboune’s unwavering positions in favor of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian people, saying that they were “honorable and command respect and consideration from the Palestinian leadership and its people”.

Pursuant to the decision of the President of the Republic, the Algerian Embassy in Sudan evacuated, from Khartoum, two Palestinian families made up of 16 members, who had requested its assistance and were treated, he added, like Algerian citizens.

The Palestinian diplomat expressed his consideration “for this humanitarian gesture by Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune and for his courageous and honorable political positions in favor of Palestine in all regional and international fora.”
