ALGIERS- In a message released on the eve of the 63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960 manifestations, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reflects on the historical significance of the event and outlines Algeria’s commitment to addressing contemporary challenges and achieving national development goals.
President Tebboune acknowledges the multiple challenges facing Algeria and emphasizes the country’s sincere and strong will to overcome them following the completion of the institutional system. He highlights the exceptional efforts invested in building the New Algeria, aiming to improve the economy, enhance social life, and create a better living environment for citizens.
The President underscores the importance of commemorating the December 11, 1960 manifestations as a tribute to the brave Algerian people, proud of their heritage and faithful to the message of November and the sacrifices of previous generations. He praises the glory achieved by the militants and Mujahideen during the revolution against colonialism, emphasizing their resilience against a well-armed war machine.
