President Tebboune’s Representative, Salah Goudjil, Extends Condolences to Kuwait at Embassy

ALGIERS- In a gesture of solidarity and sympathy, Salah Goudjil, Speaker of the Council of the Nation in Algeria, visited the Embassy of Kuwait in Algiers on Tuesday to express condolences on behalf of President Tebboune. The visit aimed to convey heartfelt condolences following the loss of Emir Cheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad.
Goudjil, signing the condolences register, acknowledged the profound impact of Emir Cheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad’s passing, stating, “This is a loss not only for Kuwait but also for the Arab and Islamic nations. The late Emir continued the legacy of Kuwaiti leaders before him, laying the foundations for solidarity among Arab and Islamic peoples and advocating for wisdom and moderation in a region marked by conflicts. He played a crucial role in mediating and resolving issues among brethren on numerous occasions.”
During his address to Kuwaiti diplomatic representatives, Goudjil praised the late Emir’s consistent efforts on the Palestinian cause, describing him as a staunch advocate for a people dispossessed of their lands, facing severe challenges and transgressions. The Kuwaiti leadership, under the reign of the departed Emir, stood out for its principled stance on the Palestinian issue.
