ALGIERS- In a gesture of diplomatic amity, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria engaged in a telephone conversation with his Tunisian counterpart, President Kaïs Saïed, to convey New Year’s wishes and exchange pleasantries. The communication took place on Sunday, as revealed in a statement from the Algerian presidency.
President Tebboune extended his congratulations to President Saïed on the occasion of the arrival of the year 2024. During the call, he expressed heartfelt wishes for continued progress and prosperity not only for Tunisia’s leader but also for the entire Tunisian people.
In response, President Saïed conveyed his gratitude to President Tebboune for the kind sentiments and well-wishes. He reciprocated the New Year’s greetings, extending his hopes for ongoing advancement and prosperity for both the Algerian president and the people of Algeria.
