ALGIERS– Fiat Algérie, the dealer of the Italian brand FIAT, will announce today, Sunday, the models of vehicles marketed in Algeria, reports EcoAlgerie news website.
The Fiat Algeria dealer will announce Sunday March 19 (coinciding with the 61st anniversary of Victory Day), all the models that will be marketed in Algeria.
Six (6) models will be marketed, including three tourists and the other three utilities. According to the same source, the passenger car models are “Fiat 500” and “FIAT 500 L”, as well as the five-door Fiat Tipo.
As for utility cars, all Fiat “Scudo” commercial models will be on display, as well as the Fiat “Doblo” commercial model, and Fiat “Ducato”.
On March 6, the Ministry of Industry granted the approval for the exercise of the activity of dealership of new vehicles to Fiat Algeria.
As for the manufacture of vehicles for the Italian brand Fiat, a subsidiary of the Stellantis group, the factory located in the industrial zone of Tafraoui (wilaya of Oran) will be ready at the end of next August, and the first cars will be produced and marketed as of December 2023.
