ALGIERS- In an exclusive interview with national radio, former FLN team player Mohamed Maouche unveiled the completion of the Ad-Hoc commission’s work and disclosed the shortlist of potential candidates forwarded to Walid Sadi.
As Algerian fans eagerly anticipate the announcement of the next coach for the national team, Mohamed Maouche revealed this morning on Algerian radio that the Ad-Hoc commission’s task of reviewing applications has concluded. “The commission’s mission is FINISHED. We have compiled a detailed report on each coach on the list and have transmitted it to the president of the FAF,” he stated. Maouche emphasized that the decision now lies in the hands of the Federation president, saying, “It is up to Walid Sadi to make the right choice now.”
Moreover, the former FLN team player divulged the names on the list submitted to Walid Sadi: “The list submitted to the Federal Bureau includes the names of these coaches in a specific order: Notably, Queiroz, Petkovic, Peseiro, and Broos.”
